Gorgeous Antique Oak Quartersawn Display-Storage-Chest-Old telephone box?I am estimating this is from the earlier 20th century - maybe 1930's. Measures 11.5 in across x 6.25 in tall x almost 8 in depth.Hinged with a Burgundy-Crimson painted interior with a mirrored underlid.The beautiful woodgrain is quartersawn oak and in near-excellent condition. There are a few light scratches/remnants on the outer top lid, as if something was attached at one time (see photo). Measures 11.5 in across x 6.25 in tall x almost 8 in depth. Per request, the inside dimensions of the box are as follows: 10.5 in across x 7 in depth x 4.75 in tall + 1 inch (lid) ~ a very generous size box.
