Beautiful porcelain quatrefoil shaped tea coup and saucer with relief molded floral scrollwork designs along the edge. Decorated in the Dresden style with a hand painted Chelsea bird in pink, blue, yellow, red and black on the front of the cup and two Chelsea birds in pink, red, blue, black, and yellow on the saucer. With a hand painted floral landscape with purple and pink flowers. With larger Dresden st...yle pink, red, yellow, and blue flowers on either side of the handle and in the center of the saucer. With gold gilt and blue highlights to the scrollwork along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a gold gilt pseudo Chelsea anchor mark. This form was produced by Robert Bloch's factory Porcelaine de Paris (the successor to Achille Bloch). There have been several marked examples with other patterns. This particular form is not pictured in the Porcelaine de Paris catalog; however, several other examples of this pattern that have been seen online with the same mark are in the Porcelaine De Paris catalog.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 6 inches wide.
