5 Gram APMEX 24 Karat Pure Gold Bar In Assayed T. E. P. Case
Item History & Price
This 5 gram 24 karat pure [0.9999 fine] gold bar was minted by the American Precious Metals Exchange Mint [APMEX] in Oklahoma City, OK. Gold bars are minted in weights ranging from less than a grain [15th of a Troy oz.] to kilos. The rising popularity of fractional gold pieces like this 5 gram bar stems from the fact that incremental gold bars make gold ownership affordable for most families. It is a nice feeling having some gold socked away safely, and while buying smaller pieces mean...s higher overall "premiums" [prices above gold spot], cost averaging over many years compensates for those premiums. This 5 gram bar is secured in a Tamper Evident Package [TEP], and contains multiple anti-counterfeiting features. It is protected by a cellophane sleeve attached to a Golden Life Card [See photo]. A label inside the card has a brief description of this item, what we call a "mini-bio, " reminding folks down history's lane exactly what the piece is. A colorfully designed envelope is also provided for safe storage of the gold or for gifting it to a loved one. [NOTE: The first four pictures are Stock Photos, but I Guarantee the 5 gram APMEX bar being sold matches the quality of the one shown.] Gold, "the barbarous relic, " has always given peace of mind to those who know the real history of fiat legal tender currency.
