Antique Bisque-head Bonnie Babe Doll by Georgene Averill, Fabulous condition! . Condition is Used. This is a gorgeous Bonnie Babe, Bisque-Head baby, with cloth body and composition hands. Mold# 1402. Her bisque head was made by (ABG) Alt Beck & Gottsschalck and imported from Germany beginning in 1926. Headmarking: georgene averill 1005/ 3652/ 3Germany1402/45She is 18”tall from head-to-toe, with a 12.25” head circumference. Her head is free of any dam...age or marks of any kind. Beautiful, even complexion, blue glass eyes that open and close easily, open mouth with little molded teeth and tongue, all perfect!She has some paint loss on the tips of several fingers, on both composition hands that can be seen in the pictures. I have pictured one hand and can send a picture of the other hand. Their condition is equal.Her body is stuffed, very clean, pink cloth that is very secure at neck and wrists. Flange neck does not feel as though there are any breaks. Seams are excellent throughout body. Has non-working voice box in back of body. I can send a picture of this if you ask. She wears a very nice cotton baby-size christening gown with white embroidery and tucks on bodice. Matching embroidery at hem in front of gown. 3 buttons in back. Perfect condition. Under-slip is cotton on top and flannel on bottom with eyelet embroidery at hem. No flaws. Her cloth feet are covered with beautiful embroidered felt baby booties in perfect clean condition. She also wears an old baby bonnet with pink silk ribbon rosettes on each side and pink under-chin tie. Great condition. I can send pictures of back of bonnet. This is one fabulous example of this baby model!
