This is a ready to run model of an HO scale 40' wood refrigerator car lettered for the Lackawanna Railroad in the yellow and brown "Lackawanna Refrigerator Line" paint scheme. This car was made by Mantua in their line of all metal freight cars and is now long out of production. Car is all metal construction with a metal floor and embossed printed paper sides. Car number is 7246 and build date is 4-39. Car has metal steps, grab irons, ladders and brake wheel. Car is in excelle...nt condition, and has cast metal Bettendorf trucks with brass wheels, and Kadee knuckle couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car, the box cover picture, and the box end panel. Car is in the original blue Mantua box, and is marked as an all metal refrigerator car kit.
