Weare offering for your consideration a striking Simpson, Hall, Miller silver plated, 3-piece service. The pieces are designed in patterns from the Aesthetic Periodwhich ran from the mid 1800’s to the turn of the century. The pieces aremarked, “Quadruple Plate” which was not used after 1899. The service measuresthe following:**HingedTeapot measures 10 inches high and 9 inches wide from handle to spout.**Covered Sugar Bowl measures 9 inches high and 7 incheswide between the tw...o handles. **Covered Creamer measures 8.50 inches at thehighest point on the handle and 5 inches wide between the handle and spout.The pieces are enhanced with bandsof decorative cut engravings of flowers and designs on the top and bottom ofthe pieces. A rendering of Bamboo stalks and other Asian inspired leavesframing a fan are engraved on the front and back. Tall decorative legs decoratedwith flowers and leaves add elegance to the pieces. The spout is decorated withan embossed floral rendering. The decorative handle has medallions of flowers as do the open finials.All indicative of prevalent designs of the Aesthetic Period. The service is in VERY GOOD TOUSE ESTATE CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. There are twopolishing marks on either side of the sugar bowl handles though they in no waytake away from the beauty of the set. There are no dents or repairs. Theinsides are clean with no rust or pitting. A lovely antique Aesthetic Period servicenot often found that will add elegance to those special dinners and holidaysettings.
