This is a really beautiful example of Santo Domingo jewelry, using turquoise, coral and onyx in combination with sterling silver and seashell. The inlay is a bit unusual in it's color scheme and style, would make a great piece for evening wear I think.
Condition is excellent, no flaws or defects that we could notice. The heishi are very well matched and graduated, and running your finger down the necklace it feels very smooth. The inlay is very much the same....r>Measuring a bit more than 10 inches around, this qualifies as a choker I suppose. The pendant is under 2" across, and the entire piece weighs about 27 grams.
