This auction is for a very rare and special watch. It is part of the Invicta Limited Edition Chinese Legend Series, which was introduced around 2005. There was also a koi fish and dragon produced in the series, but in my opinion, the tiger was the best-looki...ng watch in the collection. There were only 200 watches of these watches ever made, making it extremely rare. Unfortunately, it is not engraved on the watch that it is a limited edition, because Invicta was not doing that on any of there watches at that time, approximately 2005. There are also many design elements on this watch that are unique and exclusive to the Chinese Legend Series....such as the Chinese Cloisonné dial and multiple types of genuine gemstones on the dial including black diamonds. This watch was purchased from Shop NBC which is now known as Evine. I am the original and only owner of this watch, it has been worn approximately a dozen times in the last 15 years for special occasions only. I did have it professionally sized at the jeweler for my wrist when I initially got it. To ensure that the new owner of this watch has the best experience, I did take the watch into the jeweler to get the pins and links that were removed when it was sized for me put back in. The bracelet is a generous size, so it should be able to be sized to just about any size wrist. As my jeweler pointed out to me when you do have the watch sized, you will notice that there are small arrows on only one side of each of the links; please make sure to remove the links from the side that the arrow is pointing to. A round silver-tone stainless steel case houses an exhibition back that provides an optimum view of a remarkable Swiss SW200 Automatic movement. Gazing through the timepiece's sapphire crystal reveals a dial that must be seen to be believed. This burgundy dial displays rose-tone triangular markers at 6:00 through 12:00. Rose-tone/white hour and minute hands keep time reliably. A date window is observed near 9:00. What really sets this timepiece in a class of its own is the exotic tiger on the right side of the dial. Comprised of black diamond and orange sapphire stripes, green tsavorite eyes, white mother of pearl ears, facial hair and finally, a red lacquer nose and tongue, this beautiful creature is a true sight to behold. The silver-tone stainless steel bracelet with polished links elegantly completes this ensemble and attaches with a push button dual deployment clasp.
