The performance that evening was a fresh-from-Broadway musical comedy called SWEET LITTLE DEVIL, starring Constance Binney, written by Frank Mandel and Laurence Schwab with music by George Gershwin and lyrics by B G (Buddy) DeSilva. The musical originally opened at the Astor Theatre, New York on January 21, 1924. 120 performances. The show opened a month befor...e the world premiere of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". This program was printed by the New York Theater Program Corporation. It has 26 pages and is in excellent condition. Great ads throughout including some in color.
