First things first. This is the height of luxury and of having money. Solid. Gold. 18K. Watch. On your wrist
Very weighty and solid in the hand
This is a very unique looking watch, with its own very unique complications
Please view all pictures very very careful...ly as they are the description
This particular model ran the triple date complications which continued for Heuer throughout the following years after the popularity of this unique complication was found to be quite high. This model here is where it all started however.
It was released in three different models. Steel, the cheapest (if you can call the high prices being charged cheap so I mean relatively), and in 10K gold filled which was more expensive. Then there is the very very hard to find model, THIS ONE which was made of SOLID gold, simply because it cost SO MUCH at the time not many people (post World War 2) had the money to purchase it
This featured Heuers own in house Heuer Triple Calendar complication and has been recently serviced so it is keeping excellent time with all features working FLAWLESSLY
The Day is turning well and working
The Month is turning well and working
The date function is also working and turning well
It is keeping very accurate time
I will attach a brand new brown strap to the watch, and take the black strap off before sending (the black strap is just a show strap so the watch is more prominent in the pictures)
As you can see I have included the original advert for it as well, historical documents of this period are very hard to come by. This watch is featured on the very left in the 1953 advert
It has a smooth cream dial and gold Arabic numerals. The date day and month are below 12 o’clock with the Heuer logo clear and present right below. The calendar day of the month is around the outside dial with small Arabic numbers and with a sharpened arrow head hand to indicate the calendar day. Two pushers come at 2 and 4 o’clock for the calendar and time.
As you can see inside the back case, there are several gold stamps and engravings showing the calibre and purity of the 18K Gold used. It also has the Heuer badge and logo. It was assembled in Switzerland
This is your chance to own a very sought after (solid gold version) of this incredibly old age classy and sophisticated watch, with its own unique and special history. An absolute horological masterpiece and a slice of watch making history
This is a sure fire collectible
