A SMALL (TYPICALLY SIZED FOR IT'S ERA) 1950'S VINTAGE LADIES HUGUENIN SWISS WATCH WITH A 20 MICRON GOLD PLATED CASE AND A FULLY WORKING AND ACCURATE SWISS ETA 1010 CALIBRE (BRANDED ZentRa ROYAL) 17 JEWEL MECHANICAL MOVEMENT IN EXCELLENT USED CONDITION
VIEW WATCH ALONGSIDE A 5 PENCE (DIME SIZED) COIN
This dainty watch has a 17mm round x 5mm slim, 20 micron thickness gold plated, case with a plain fixed bezel surrounding an unblemish...ed mineral domed crystal over a silver/grey coloured face with gold coloured Arabic number and blue steel sword shaped hour and minute hands. HUGUENIN is printed across the face with SWISS written at the base. The plater's 20 micron stamp is under the top single lug.
The rear snap-on stainless steel case back has the following information stamped on :-

Covering a fully working and accurate ETA 1010 calibre 17 jewel 7.75''' mechanical movement which is branded (and possibly modified by) ZentRa (Royal) a Company founded by Adolph Huguenin in the mid 19th Century.
Attached is a new (old vintage stock) black genuine leather Cordette-with-Ring style strap with a gold plated buckle. Additionally, the after-market expanding strap which was with the watch when I received it is included.
As an idea, by the nature of the case design and size, it would be also possible to use the single lug detail to suspend the watch as a pendant from a neck chain.
