I recently purchased a large collection of Old Military, mainly World War 2 Knife Sheaths. I am not a military expert, but they were purchased as World War 2 Era so I am selling them with the information that I was given. This is a metal knife sheath. The black paint is pealing as can be seen in the pictures. It has a clip on one end near the top. It measures 1-1/2" wide where the knife would go in. I do not know what knife/bayonet/short sword this sheath is for.
