Original Description:
This is a very old Buddha Head that I bought in Myanmar many years ago. Hand carved. It was already very old when I bought in a village. Impossible to say what its age is. I’m told that while Thai Buddhas are made of stone, traditionally, Burmese Buddha heads were made of wood as this one is. They are not just a religious item, but as well much admired as an artwork. I bought it as a decoration for a modern house. It contrasts so well in a modern home an...d looks great. Height 34 cm (including stand) Height 21 cm (excluding stand)
