Garcia Mitchell 300 RH Open Face Spinning Fishing ReelUp for sale is a Vintage Garcia Mitchell 300 RH (left hand use) Open Face Spinning Fishing Reel. A very, very clean vintage reel. Everything appears to work correctly. Could just use a good cleaning. "Mitchell reels with only "Mitchell" engraved are the predecessors to the famous and most popular 300 and 301 models. These model numbers were not engraved until the 5th version...." The 5th version started in the mid 1950's. So this reel more than likely is from early 1950's. "The first four versions of the 300 called "The Mitchell" at the time did not have the 300/301 model number engraved. The first two versions did not have serial numbers at all and the beginning of the 3rd version also did not have numbers."There is not a serial number on the reel.
