Rare Franklin Mint NASA Apollo 11 First Lunar Moon Landing Space Module w/ Box. This July 20th marks the 50 year anniversary of the lunar landing so this would make a great gift! This is a hand assembled die cast model originally put out to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Apollo 11’s moon landing In addition to the original box and certificate of Authenticity, I am including two ‘Extras’ - 1 Newspaper from ‘The Province’ (Vancouver) on July 21st showing ‘They did it!’... as well as 1 45 rpm lp containing audio highlights of the Apollo 11 Lunar landing mission - please note lp has a light scratch - But again, these are extras I am including as gift for buyer. This model is 1:48 scale and has never been put together. It has only ever been taken out of the box for me to take photos of for listing. I did not want to remove original tissue paper from the octagonal moon landing platform so I took the best photo I could. It is in Mint condition. The only damage is to the box which has crumpled corners and sticking brown paper from outer paper layer, as well as the Certificate of Authenticity has a light tear in the centre at the top which occurred when I pulled it from pack and it stuck to a piece of tape. *Please see all photos and feel free to ask questions before purchasing.
