Here's a cute little miniature Little Butter Cup sapphire blue hand blown child's oil lamp from the 1870s or 1880s with crude applied finger grip handle..... LITTLE BUTTER CUP emb on front of lamp.... Hand blown in mold...smooth base....round....crude applied finger handle with curled drip of glass....sapphire blue ....2 1/2"tall to brass collar....6 1/2"to top of chimney.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean lamp.... Original brass thread...ed collar is excellent with no damage. Old brass burner is emb ABCO NUTMEG on the wick knob...... Glass chimney is ground on top & bottom surfaces....a shallow chip with 1/4"crack in top. This original 140 year old mini lamp was used by some child as a night lamp or on trips to the outdoor toilet at night ....
