These vintage 14k and Onyx Levin earrings are in beautiful condition and had only one owner who cared for them lovingly. They are signed Levin 14k. I have only one back for them ( also signed) I can provide a clear rubber back or a sterling back if you need one.I do not have a gold back for them. I'am a Levin enthusiast from the time I was a child and would be allowed to wear my favorite piece of Mom's jewelry (for a little while) which was a silver and bronze flowered cuff. It only ma...de sense that I would start to collect vintage pieces. Eventually, I would sell what I had to by more, and it has led to a nice collection for sale. I have mixed in a few pieces I thought were pretty from other designers, but the majority is Ed Levin. Levin is the father of mid-Century modern jewelry design, an artist in many mediums, he began his jewelry company in 1950 in New York. Today the company is still family owned though Levin passed away in 2008. He is known for his sterling silver jewelry in designs that are fluid and modernist style. . It is important for me to let my customers know the jewelry comes from a non smoking home. Pieces are cleaned and polished by me in a solution of warm water and a mild soap, and if need be I brush it with a soft toothbrush and polish it until my arm hurts!
