Offering this handmade, recycled, fiber fill, "Plush Pet", by "Peculiar Pets, of Durham NC". These plush pets were handmade until around 2011. From what I could find out the company purchased vintage chenille blankets, and had crafters use their blankets and patterns to create these unique animal pillows. Apparently when the price of vintage blankets went up, the company didn't survive. These plush pets are sure to be a future collectable, as not many were made! This ...one is of a cute pink and orange chenille Cat, with a felt orange bird on his hip. The face is also made of felt and the body of a vintage, pink and orange chenille blanket. The pillow is large and measures 21 1/2" tall x 16" wide.
