Here is a beautifully made vintage FISHING ROD with original compartmentalised bag.
It is an ABU DIPLOMAT 662 ZOOM HOLLOW GLASS FIBRE 7 FOOT CRANK HANDLE MODEL made in Sweden.
It is dark grey and splits into 2 pieces.The handle has black foam handle grips and it has a sprung reel lock speed fitting.The rings and ferrule have gold whipping which has dark striped highlights.
It comes complete with its original waterproof bag.The bag label gives a guide casting weight of 10 to 30...g 3/8 - 1 oz.
In lightly used & original condition with no known defects just the normal signs of wear.This is almost entirely wear marks to the black foam on one side of the reel fitting presumably from being gripped by the thumb!Please view this as part of the item description.
I have not used the rod for a long time but it has been maintained and kept dry stored.It does fit together and come apart really well but is a bit stiff through lack of use.
I am also selling one of my spinning reels which is listed separately.
