I recently had 16 Eggplant Ducks customized to be Kariya. (16 because I had to CUT a jersey up to get the nameplate fabric and 16 nameplates is what I can get out of a blank size XXL Ducks jersey ... materials are becoming scarce for this jersey)
When I received the invoice, I saw that my cost per unit was $20. (cdn funds) higher than last time I sent them out.$20. increase was an $11. price increase on materials and a new $9. nhlpa alumni fee. (royalty plan for ...players)
If my cost goes up $20., I can't absorb this. I don't have that large a markup.
This is why this jersey is more expensive than my other jerseys (such as the Selanne, in the same style jersey)

This is a brand new, with tags attached, Eggplant style Anaheim Ducks hockey jersey of number 9 Paul Kariya . This CCM 550 series semipro jersey is just great. It features a fabric chest crest and fabric shoulder patches factory installed by CCM. The number 9s are three layer fabric, and all are stitched on - just like the pros. The letters in the name KARIYA are fabric which is stitched onto a nameplate and the nameplate is then stitched onto the jersey.
SPEAKING OF THE NAMEPLATE ... The professional, licensed by the nhlpa cresting house that I use for customizing jerseys, had a number of different nameplate from a number of different suppliers, including from CCM themeselves, yet NONE of them were a match close enough for my satisfaction. This is an expensive jersey and I would not settle for a nameplate that was not correct. I actually gave up a brand new $100. Ducks jersey and had them CUT IT UP into nameplates to use for my Kariya jerseys. THAT folks, is the quality you get with this jersey.
This is an ADULT EXTRA LARGE . The size XL measures as follows: Wingspan 68 inches, Armpit to Armpit 27 inches at the seams . The Shoulder to Waist 33 inches at the front. The side to side at the bottom of the jersey is 28 inches.
