This is a trumpet any professional or serious student should love playing. It produces a very open medium dark sound that is very lively with lots of color. The blow has an open feel and is free and easy. The valves are quick and smooth and all slides are free and functional. The leadpipe is clean and it will be a trumpet that you can enjoy for years to come. I love these early Elkhart trumpets and... I feel you will too. Included is the original case that shows wear but is structurally sound with working latches and a solid handle.
Cosmetic blemishes include light surface scratches, small areas of missing lacquer, pings and evidence of some past dent removal in the bell Most of the lacquer is intact and there are no large dents or blaring concerns. You will find it a trumpet that is in above average condition for it;s vintage and one you can feel proud to take out of the case.
