ABOUT THIS COLLECTION AND ORIGIN:Let us take a moment to articulate the details, processesand origin on how this material came to be in our possessionto be listed, advertised and offered online for the first time EVERfor your perusual ..
Approximately 40-50 years back a gentleman began a working career as the direct assistant to the Famed actor John Wayne. He went by the name "Mickey" and you will see many of the autographs were signed to "Mickey". For the entire stint of his adult work life he was a dedicated employee and obviously loved his gig with all it’s perks.
During the quarter century of working closely with Mr. Wayne slow but sure these examples of memorabilia started to become the portfolio and collecting passion of this visionary gentleman. Over the years many many famed pieces came into his possession, items like James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Clark Gable were just a short example of coveted items that have been recently sold for many thousands of dollars.
Eventually the time came where by the gentleman retired to a quaint apartment in Glendale California where he paid his rent on time and lived frugally. The years went by fast and the man aged. One day on the 5th of the month the Landlord was doing an internal apartment rent check and discover this apartment had not yet paid his rent. Not worried the landlord went to pay a visit and say hello.
The Landlord knocked and the man answered the door very pale, shaky, and immediately stated he felt ill and to call 911.
Sadly within a few days the man passed away. More days passed and the funeral commenced, at the viewing, the Landlord noticed there was no one but himself, his wife and the funeral director in attendance. The landlord inquired and the Funeral director told him to his knowledge the man had no next of kin, relatives or heirs.
To make a long story short, the local police told the landlord that if no one came to lay claim within 6 months the apartment contents and entire assets were his to claim.
Today, we are representing that landlord with 100 percent confidence that we have seen the exact origin of the location of merchandise, that all items are sold fully warranted and guaranteed authentic or money back.
