In good condition for age, very early unsigned pieces and not without a few minor flaws and imperfections.
Early pieces like this are usually found in museums like LACMA and Victoria and Albert London.
The vases demonstrate the use of translucent enamel in which Namikawa pioneered to create the burned orange look to the panels, each vase has three panels, they contain flying cranes, butterflies, be...rries and foliage which are typical of Namikawa design. They are on a black base ground which also is typical of Namikawa, containing flowers and cloisonne's in a swirling pattern.
A very small loss of black enamel has been restored at some point as in the second to last photo. Please see photos for best description.
The last photo is a similar vase that sold at an auction house as Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki.
Measurements 5.5 cm tall and 7.5 cm wide.
