In 1949 the US sent Lefty O`Doul and the San Francisco Seals to Japan as part of reconciliation after the war. The tour was hugely popular.
Kagome made a lovely set of round menkos in commeration.

Not directly related to this item, Japan has recently restarted EMS s...hipments to the US after about 1 year of it being halted. Finally! Sadly EMS prices have tripled (for now)and that is reflected in the shipping price. I expect the price to come down over the next year. Also shipments might take more time than previously.
