For your consideration are two vintage bird prints in shadow box frames by Turner Mfg -- probably from the 1960s. Each off-white wood/wood composite frame with a thin band of gold-colored contrast is 11.5 x 13.5 ins. The color surrounding each oval medallion looks gray in some light, blue-gray at other times. It is actually darker than the first picture would suggest. The frames show wear, especially to the corners, such as that reflected in the last three pictures. The glass is in gre...at condition. The artist was Rudolf Freund. Note that the labels on each one misspelled his first name. One print depicts a "rose-breasted grosbeak on Fall dogwood." The other is mislabeled "cedar waxwing on Spring dogwood." It is actually a yellow finch on sumac. (Their inspection wasn't so great...) The prints are quite lovely and the colors show no signs of fading. Combined weight is nearly 4 lbs.
