Paper is firm and has folds along the vertical and horizontal midlines. There is a small hole where the folds intersect. Signatures are bold and legible. These sometimes produce light spots in the photograph. They are not holes, just light reflecting off of the mica. Another security feature sometimes found embedded in the paper are colored silk threads, typically blue or red.
