One (1) Matchbox Lesney Original Type E4 new model Box for #7c Ford Refuse Truck. EMPTY BOX ONLY. 78 mmlong, 37 mm wide.
Please carefully examine the high definition photos for detail. Allexternal surfaces are shown and internal closures can be seen in the photos. This box shows all original closures present and intact. Minor to m...oderate flap fold fatigue exists with some small tears at the folds of the end flaps. No wrinkling or creasing isapparent on the core. The end flaps show minor edge effects from use. This 7c, E4 type box isvery clean, bright, and crisp for display or archive storagepurposes. Any blemishes, if present, are visible in the photos.
Overall condition for a box of this vintage: Much better than average.
2. Grading:
Condition is assessed in consideration of the following factors which could be cumulative:
1) Creasing, wrinkling, and/or perforations
2) Writing on any surface3) Repairs of any kind4) Missing parts or tears5) Defaced surfaces due to rubbing or tag removal6) Flap fatigue to various degrees due to use. Moderately fatigued members should be reinforced with tape or re-hinged with card stock.
Grading is subjective. For reference, a box in average condition is well used with some or all of the defects above. A very much better than average box will appear virtually as new. Grades in between the above assessment is a subjective interpolation. Grades are: 1) Average; 2) Better than average; 3) Much better than average; 4) Very much better than average.
