1963 Pittsburgh Pirates Yearbook - Roberto Clemente Willie Stargell. The 1963 Pittsburgh Pirates were three years removed from their 1960 World Series Championship. Their 1963 record 74-88 for 8th place. However, this roster had such 1960 holdovers as Roberto Clemente, Bob Friend, Vern Law, Bill Virdon, Roy Face and Bill Mazeroski, there were also such future stars as Willie Stargell, Gene Alley and Steve Blass. The Pirates would win the 1971 World Series with Clemente, Stargell and Bl...ass. This yearbook is in fair condition, having been at the bottom of a pile of sports magazines in my den. No tears or rips, non smoking environment. Slight smudge on the cover, faded cover.
