Pair of 8'' diameter early field coil speakers from cinema sound system. These are very heavy, each speaker weighs more than 26 lbs each without any packing!Both are working with good voice and field coils.The voice coils measure 11.6 and 11.3 ohms DCR.Both field coils measure about 1000 ohms DCR each.The field coil wires coming out of the back of the pot have some areas of missing insulation. Some areas of light rust to the black paint. I have not cleaned them,... they will look beautiful after cleaning and some light oil.The cone surrounds are leather and very old and brittle. One speaker has some stress cracking to the leather surround and a small hole in leather surround.Each speaker will be bolted by the pedestal inside of a 3/4'' thick plywood crate which will then be placed in the center of a large box with plenty of cushion on all sides of the crate to ensure safe delivery.CLICK HERE TO SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS.
