Original Description:
A vintage sculpture from the Kongo peoples, DRC/ CONGO, Africa. Carved wooden image of a N'konde N'kisi Nail fetish, a effigy of a spirit with inset glass eyes and dozens of nails and spikes driven into the fetish. This sculpture is unusual as it features two spirit faces in a janus form.An aggressive and powerful sculpture with a well weathered patina.
The sculpture measures 11 inches tall.
