Rare Pair Antique Anglo Indian Carved Dragons ~Jewelled Eyes~18" tall.
Superb rare pair of fine carved detailed dragons standing on a carved square base with another dragon carved all the way around on bun feet.Beautifully quality carved pair with old carved screw connection.(photo12).As there is a hole in the screw and up through the centre of the dragons i would say they were a pair of table lamps when originally made.

Nice warm patina showing th...rough.Would benefit from a clean and polish....
Each measures overall 18" with the squarish base measuring 9" by 8.75".The pair have a good weight of around 5.00 kilos unwrapped indicating a hard wood....padouk/rosewood?
Will display superbly in any period or contemporary setting.In great overall condition for age...One has a tongue missing.There are some small loses to the backs of the heads as shown.Nothing major, but noted....with rubbing, marks etc here and there, odd nibble, knock as shown.Stunning when displayed from all angles.
