this is an absolutely stunning antique art nouveau handmade brass and genuine high quality leather vanity bag.the face has exquisite heavily embossed stylized art nouveau detailing with nice green, brown and black color.it is completely handmade and hand tooled.and has a quality leather strap held by brass clasps with a flour-de-lis on each.there is a small leather strap of the designed face of the bag to pull the bag opened.it has a nice brass mouth and clasp that shuts nice...ly, and the inside has wonderful linen compartments.it has an oval mirror but has fogged over time.....easily replaceable.would be great for makeup, cigarettes, keys phone. pens pads etc.it has a great aged look but in good functional shape.measures 6 3/8 by 4 1/2 inches without measuring the handle.great early high quality handmade bag.
