a lovely antique sash pin dating from the Victorian to Edwardian era, circa late 1800s to early 1900s.
Made from gilt brass, it has a beautiful Art Nouveau floral design with cloisonné flowers and foliage on guilloché enamel. The flower has a golden yellow center with five petals in ombre-shades of deep raspberry to lighter red with pearly white.
It fastens with a C catch on the back and measures 2" x 25/8". It shows minor wear on the brass and also has... a little spot and scratch mark on the white guilloché which can be seen in the photos. All in all, it's in excellent condition for its age and presents beautifully.
