Rare and beautiful souvenir spoon from Honolulu, Hawaii. Made of sterling silver, the bowl of the spoon and the breadfruit sphere are gilded (vermeil) Exquisitely executed, this 3D representation of vegetation from Honolulu is engraved Sterling and copyrighted. No silversmith mark is visible.I think that the sphere at the top of the handle represents an iconic fruit of the island; the breadfruit or hulu. The spoon is in very good condition. Expect loss of vermeil pl...ating on back of the bowl of the spoon.There is an indentation on the back of the sphere, I don't know if it was intended to be like this or not.
