Original Description:
For offer is a quite scarce Winter Mountain Training Notebook and Ski Badge for the Mountain Training Center in Camp Saalfelden, Austria. This was run by the 42nd Infantry Division during the time Austria was still occupied by U.S. and Soviet Forces.  The badge is the instructor badge. Unfortunately, it is missing both fastener pins on the back. The badges do surface from time to time but the course instruction books do not.
