Antique child's or young girl's ruched and pleated silk satin hat with lace and fabric flowersHandmade on wired frame and lined with silk. I'm not sure of the period. Could be from 1812 to 1900.Smallish so I think it's for a younger female. Has no under chin ties and doesn't look as if there ever were. ?? Must have been exquisite.
