Here is a wonderfully preserved family heirloom 27" tall antique German K*R Simon & Halbig doll with no damage to the lovely bisque face. She has blue sleep eyes, brunette curly human hair wig, pierced ears. Distinctly marked K*R Simon & Halbig with the 68 cm size number on the neck (the 68 number is not pictured). She has 11 different dresses, 4 bloomers, 3 slips, a lace pillowcase, 2 pair of socks ( 1 white and 1 black), 2 pair of shoes marked "Made in Taiwan", orange knitte...d sweater with matching hat; please note that some of the the bloomers do not fit this size doll. All the clothing has been photographed and these pictures show their color and picturesque condition - one dress has a pencil eraser sized hole. The last picture is from my husband's family members as the only two owners of this antique item. The original owner was born in 1903 and was perhaps 14-16 when the picture was taken; in 1952, the original owner gave this doll to my husband's mother. It has been well cared for and in a costum made glass case for more than 50 years. The 8" wood based stand with adjustable rod (not the glass case) are also included.
