- 22" across the chest, pit to pit;
- 18" across the waist band, side to side;
- 24" shoulder seam to edge of cuff;
- 17 1/2" shoulder to shoulder across the front;
- 22" collar seam to edge of waistband along the back.
The buttons might be Bakelite; they have loops on their backs where a metal ring is inserted, making it easy to change them (no sewing).
The... measurements the jacket fits, in inches, are clearly displayed on the label.
The mannequin measures 34" around the chest and 37" around the hips, and the jacket fits nicely. A larger than that body will see the jacket fit very tight, in our opinion.
They were made in 1952 by W. Ashton (New Mills) Ltd.
The collar closure is via metal hooks and loops.
This is green denim: that is not clear on all the pics, but please advised the jacket is a shade of green.
