Original vintage 1920's 30's hat box style travel case. ♥ It's decorated with the image Black Cat. ♥ This is an 'Original Charleston Bag' case, and ink stamped inside. The cases by this company a very hard to find. I've been collecting these vintage decorated cases over 30 years, and have only found a handful of Charleston Bags. You'd be hard pressed to find another. This only would look great to display with Halloween or cat collectibles. The case has a great multi ...color graphic and displays well from the front. **It does have condition issues** There is wear and lifting to the oil cloth edging. The front panel is partially detached from the rest of the lid. The back of the case is partially disconnected from the body of the case. **Please photos** Someone wrapped the handle in a thin rubber material, like an inner tube. The latch works. They were used as travel cases, overnight bags, for hats etc. I was also told they were also used to take their bathing suits to the beach so they could change when they got there.
