Very nice antique solid silver Vesta Case, with cracking military engraving - “From the captain and Officers Of H.M.S Argonaut to Mr JAS Fuller R.N, 11.01.07”

“HMS Argonaut was a ship of the Diadem-class of protected cruiser in the British Royal Navy. She was laid down in 1898, and commissioned for service on the China ...station in 1900. From 1906 she served in the Home Fleet, and during the First World War she served in the Atlantic. She was converted to hospital ship in 1915, and sold for breaking up in 1920”
Full hallmarked - (Makers mark double stamped so is illegible) Birmingham, 1900
Silver weight - 29grams
Measures - 5.1cm Long x 4.4cm wide x 1cm depth.
Please see photos for condition, good clean condition, no dings, dents, makers mark rubbed, light scratching, but generally in good presentable condition.
