Vintage Miniature Dollhouse Artisan Dennis Jenvey Drop Leaf Table Burl Wood OOAK
This is a lovely, decorative vintage hand-made double drop leaf burl wood table. This table has some incredible features including inlaid wood designs, a drawer with brass hardware, and hinged leaves on either side. This piece has been artisan crafted, and it is signed Dennis Jenvey, dated 1986. **Note: any additional miniature items in photos are used for scale and props only, and only the item bei...ng described above is included in this listing.
This wonderful little miniature was from a collection, 40 years in the making. Every collection has a story and this one is well, just wonderfully special. I was surprised to see such a tiny home with so many minis, the story behind the person, is that she lived a grand life in a large home, she traveled the world in search for artisan miniatures and boy did she find them. This collection is so vast, it features miniatures from artisans around the world, most pre internet as she preferred to go to shows or meet the artisans directly but what was so 'wonderfully' special to me, was in the last years of her life, she sold her estate, moved to a small home and surrounded herself with all of the things that made her happy...her miniatures and I know she would want each piece to find a wonderful new collection to reside within.
