Wehrmacht Invasion Money - A grouping of 10 German WWII bank-notes emited for occupied Poland - the General Gouvernement. 1 x 100 Zloty 1940, 1 x 100 Zloty 1941, 2 x 50 Zloty 1941, 3 x 20 Zloty 1940, 2 x 10 Zloty 1940, 1 x 5 Zloty 1941. All banknotes emited by Bank Emisyjny - German occupation bank for General Gouvernement. Currency emited by this bank was the only legal currency in G...eneral Gouvernement, and even German soldiers and policemen from occupation forces were reciving soldier's pay in that money. That was a lot of cash during war! During war on black market in occupied towns like Warsaw, Cracow or Radom you could buy anything for that currency - guns, drugs, alcohol. Wehrmacht soldiers were doing thier monkey business, selling guns and rifles for Polish conspirators and simple criminals. Original WW2 personal items of the Wehrmacht.
