A vintage Buffet Crampon wood clarinet. Serial number 36697. Barrel went missing, so needs a replacement. Built before the R13 was designed: There are incomplete serial number records for these years, but Buffet says they produced about 3000 per year during the "missing records" years, which puts this one circa 1943-1944. There are no cracks. The pads look like they might be playable but I would not count on it. I think it needs a complete overhaul. Ther...e is a very small "MADE IN FRANCE" stamped under the upper joint logo near the first key. Also has the Buffet Crampon logo on the mouthpiece. Case is sturdy but completely worn out.
