Tapered china dish with two handles and a nicely curved shape. This china dish is from Germany, manufactured by Reinhold Schlegelmilch sometime between 1914 - 1945. This transferware candy dish or trinket dish has a sprig of pink roses, surrounded by an ornate gold leaf trim. The edges of the dish and handles are also decorated with gold leaf. The bottom is signed "RS Tillowitz" and marked "Handpainted" in blue ink. There is some wear on the gold trim in several places, but o...therwise this dish is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering it is at least 75 years old!
Measurements: The china dish is 8 1/2" long and 4 1/4" wide.
