Norwegian Type / German Army Backpack - RucksackAlthough I did notfind any makers ma...rk or other stamping on it, I believe from its style, from theleather and metal buckles and the green color, that it is German made. It isvery similar to the 2 pocket M31 and the 3 pocket 'Gebirgs' German rucksacks. Thismay be a civilian model or a smaller model that was issued for the Scouts /Hitler Youth in the 1930's-1940's.This rucksack hasonly one small pocket on front and one "D" ring on the top for theattachment of the back straps. The backpack size: 55 cm tall and about 50 cm wide. Condition:The backpackis in poor condition with wear & tear that only highlights its characterand age. Showing ageing & usage thatare to be expected in a vintage piece - but nothingthat detracts from its historical importance. The leather buckles & metalrings have wear, some are missing and some will need repair. Ideal foryour vintage WW2 collection.I will be happy to send any additionalphoto’s or answer any questions upon request, so please ask if you are unsureabout this item! PayPal is the only method of payment accepted.
