Peters & Reed Pottery Moss Aztec Dragonfly Bowl. Excellent condition. Bowl was made between 1910 - 1915. This bowl is from Moss Aztec line of pottery. The bowl measures 6 d X 2 inch h. The foot measures 4.25 inches across. There are no maker's marks present.The bowl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS, OR DAMAGE. There is some light scuffing on the exterior and it could probably benefit from a good cleaning.The exterior of the bowl is finished in a brown bisque gla...ze with green highlights. The exterior is decorated with a repeating pattern of 4 dragonflies and double banding encircling the bowl. The interior is finished with a glossy brown glaze. Moss Aztec pattern, was designed by Frank Ferrell and introduced in 1912. Peters & Reed did not mark their pottery until changing their name to The Zane Pottery Company in 1921 which explains why there are no maker's marks on the underside.
