Super rare 100% authentic original White House issued/authorized Lunar Plaque (exactly as the original on stainless steel) given to a small group of VIPs at the special White House state dinner in honor of the Apollo 11 Astronauts (Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins). This example is still contained in its original White House / NASA issued folio (all as seen). This is the only NASA / White House authorized Apollo 11 Lunar Plaque with an estima...ted 200 or so examples made for VIPs at this important dinner hosted by President Richard Nixon where Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins attended only 2 days from being released from quarantine on August 13th, 1969. It should in no way be confused with the countless modern knockoff replicas of this historic Apollo 11 lunar landing plaque that are offered for sale. Again, this is THE ONLY authorized NASA / White House version created for this mission and presented to VIPs at the Official White House state dinner only 2 weeks after the mission completed in honor of the Apollo 11 Astronauts. This is a real piece of White House and Space history ! This July marks the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and the First Man to walk on the moon !
