Original Description:
For sale is a gorgeous French 950 standard tea strainer or sifter spoon with bright cut decoration. The strainer is 8 3/8 inches long and weighs 50 grams. The lobed bowl is pierced and decorated with delicate engraving. Similar engraving adorns the front and back of the handle. The piece is marked with a French 1st standard Minerva mark and a maker's mark of "CALLOT BREVETES___"? in a diamond. It is very tiny and hard to make out completely. The piece has never been monogrammed. Condi...tion on the sifter is good. There are a couple of rim dings and the handle is slightly wavy, but that is it. A fine piece!
