I played this sax through junior high school in the late 60's. It has a few very minor dings from those years, and the wooden case has seen better days, but otherwise this instrument is in remarkable shape. I had some pads and cork replaced a while back, thinking I might start playing again, but never did anything with it. At that time the sax was in perfect playing condition and the pads and corks still look good to me, but I would have a pro look it over. This is a classic instrument... and worth the investment of maintaining. I would also get it a proper airline style case if it's going to do any traveling. Includes the original case and Brilhart mouthpiece.
