Details: This auction is for the gorgeous vintage Paragon Fine Bone China cup and saucer, made in England in 1940s. The cup features large pink roses on black background chintz pattern. The saucer is adorned with pink rose on black central medallion. Chintz is the pattern for English china with an overall floral design reminding the English gardens in full bloom. The base and the handle of the cup as well as the top of the saucer are turquoise color. The cup is beautifully shaped with elegant handle. The bottom of the saucer and cup has the identifying mark of the Paragon Fine Bone China England of 1939-49. The saucer is marked with hand written pattern number. The cup and saucer are as seen in the photos. Measurements: The cup is 2" tall and 3.9" across the top. The saucer measures 5.5 " across. Condition: The vintage Paragon saucer is in good condition with minor signs of age. The cup has two small chips at the rim and a hairline 1.5” from the rim down. The imperfection is reflected in the asking price. The chintz pattern looks great and set displays beautifully despite the imperfection.PLEASE NOTE: Most of our items are in excellent or very good condition (unless otherwise specified).
